Do you know if anyone has attempted something along the same lines but using AV or some other sort of single-number metric (DVOA, PFF WAR, etc) in place of "second contract?" I wonder if 2nd-contract status sort of undersells those second contract guys who produce a lot of value as opposed to those who end up being depth guys.

I think they should've done what they could to get Zack Baun
